Business Office Assistant

Delmar Center is seeking a Business Office Assistant to work for our skilled nursing facility in Delmar, NY. The ideal candidate will have administrative, office experience, as well as experience with health insurance and collections. The candidate should also have excellent communication, solid computer skills, and a positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will work 3 days in Delmar's Skilled Nursing Facility and 2 days in their Assisted Living Program.


  • New resident registration
  • Handle facility accounts payables
  • Handle facility banking
  • Assist with collections
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Meet with residents to discuss liability,
  • PNA
  • Assist with clerical items


  • Experience with health insurance and collections is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • A very positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Medicaid knowledge not required
