Martine Center is hiring a Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk in White Plains, NY!
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support both our Central Supply and Medical Records departments. This dual-role position is vital to maintaining the efficiency, organization, and compliance of our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities include:
Central Supply Duties:
Stock nursing stations with appropriate supplies
Manage and track inventory across stock rooms, nursing units, and supply areas
Place and unpack facility-wide supply orders
Organize and maintain central supply storage and office areas
Assist with room changes and general supply logistics
Maintain cleanliness and order in supply spaces
Medical Records Duties:
Compile, organize, and maintain accurate medical records for all residents
Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of resident information
Maintain and update electronic health record databases
Audit and thin charts regularly to ensure compliance
Schedule appointments and assist with administrative medical documentation
Release information to authorized personnel/agencies in accordance with regulations
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting preferred
Basic computer proficiency
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical aspects of supply stocking
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Weekend and holiday availability as needed
