Director of Environmental Services
Buffalo Center is hiring a Director of Environmental Services in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the environmental services department, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
Coordinate and schedule custodial staff to ensure adequate coverage for all areas of the facility
Train and supervise custodial staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to cleaning standards
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
Collaborate with other departments to address any environmental service needs or concerns
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in environmental services
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a leadership role within environmental services or a related field
Strong knowledge of custodial practices, OSHA regulations, and commercial cleaning techniques
Experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of hospital environmental service requirements is preferred
