Tabernacle is a vibrant and stylish restaurant located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Known for our elevated dining experience, handcrafted cocktails, and welcoming ambiance, we are a destination for locals, professionals, and tourists alike. We are seeking an energetic and creative Event Coordinator & Marketer to help grow our brand, drive customer engagement, and execute memorable in-house events.
Starting salary is 70K plus admin fee commission
Job Overview:
As the Event Coordinator & Marketer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting all events hosted at Tabernacle. You'll play a key role in developing marketing campaigns, managing social media, and building relationships with local partners and clientele to elevate our presence in the Midtown scene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute private events, happy hours, corporate functions, and seasonal celebrations
- Coordinate with guests, vendors, kitchen, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless event experiences
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across social media, email, and local platforms
- Design promotional materials and manage listings on event and hospitality platforms
- Collaborate with influencers and local businesses to drive brand awareness
- Track performance of marketing efforts and provide regular reports to management
- Maintain and grow a calendar of events that align with the brand and clientele
- Represent the restaurant at industry events and networking opportunities
- Handle incoming inquiries in a timely manner
- Working with guests to ensure high conversion
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or hospitality
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the NYC dining and event scene is a plus
