Intake Communication Specialist
Responsibilities
- Manages communications between clinical staff and referral sources
- Responds to inquiries from referral sources quickly and efficiently
- Contributes to the management of the organization’s referrals by ensuring work is handled accurately
- Makes calls to doctor’s offices, nursing homes, and hospitals on behalf of the intake team to retrieve necessary information for patients
- Reviews team spreadsheets to ensure appropriate handling of cases and provide updates proactively to referral sources
- Able to work under moderate supervision
- Other tasks that contribute to the communication of the referral sources and the intake team
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Outlook, Excel, etc)
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Problem-solver
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full Time - Monday through Friday
