Position Overview: Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our team on a per diem basis assisting with vascular procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and has experience supporting physicians during image-guided vascular interventions.
This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled vascular team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during vascular procedures in the operating room.
Assist physicians with image-guided vascular interventions including angiograms, angioplasty, atherectomy, and related procedures.
Ensure proper radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Maintain sterile technique and assist the procedural team as needed.
Verify proper equipment setup, functionality, and imaging quality prior to procedures.
Document imaging procedures in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
Qualifications:
ARRT Certification required.
New York State Radiologic Technologist License .
BLS Certification required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional, vascular, or surgical imaging preferred.
Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy in an OR or procedural setting strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of radiation safety practices.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a procedural environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience assisting with vascular or interventional radiology procedures.
Familiarity with angiography systems and vascular imaging protocols.
Prior experience in OBL, ASC, or hospital operating room settings.
