Regional Director of Recreation

Centers Health Care is hiring a Regional Director of Recreation to oversee and enhance activity programs across four skilled nursing facilities located between Bronx, NY, and Buffalo, NY. This role requires a strong leader with proven success in long-term care recreation and the ability to travel extensively.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead and support recreation teams across multiple facilities
• Develop engaging, resident-centered activity programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards
• Mentor and train recreation staff to ensure consistent quality
• Extensive travel required between Bronx, NY and Buffalo, NY

 Requirements:

• Director of Recreation experience in a long-term care setting
• Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation or related field (CTRS or ADC preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple locations and teams independently
