Registered Diet Tech

Essex Center is looking for a Registered Diet Technician to work in our facility in Elizabethtown, NY.

We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider giving you faster access to your earnings.

Duties Include:

• Provide Residents with quality nutrition care, under the supervision of the RD

• Assist the RD in establishing dietary policies & maintaining quality dietary management

• Assist in evaluating / identifying Residents’ nutritional requirements.

• Participate in developing care plans for the Residents

• The Diet Technician evaluates Residents at nutritional risk, and

• May occasionally assist in the preparation & distribution of meals

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Dietetic Technician
  or have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition

• Long-Term Care Exp. in Diet Therapy preferred

• Knowledge of applicable state / federal guidelines

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
