Medical Records and Transportation Coordinator
Warren Center is actively seeking a Medical Records and Transportation Coordinator for our skilled nursing facility.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality, as well as a compassionate and patient-focused approach to care coordination.
DUTIES:
Responsible for compiling, processing, and accurately accounting for each resident's medical records.
Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
Verify the accuracy and accessibility of files.
Maintain electronic health records databases.
Maintain data on patient safety, patterns of disease, and disease treatment and outcome.
Release necessary information to persons and agencies according to regulations.
Responsible for auditing and thinning all medical charts.

REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and external vendors.
Proficiency in medical recordkeeping systems and data entry software (e.g., electronic health records or EHR systems).
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs.
